As of July 25, 2022, the third ring road (National Road No. 4 - National Road No. 1) with a total length of nearly 53 km has reached 76.87%. In that, road work reached 72.46%, bridge work reached 69.90% and bridge work reached 95.98%.

This ring road starts from National Road No. 4 at the point of km 14 + 105 in Champou Van village, Po Sen Chey district, connects to Kob Srov Dam Road, National Road No. 5, Victory Bridge, Victory Boulevard and National Road No. 6. Will become a new large and modern ring road to serve the transportation sector between Phnom Penh, connecting to National Road 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and National Road 21, crossing the Bassac River and the island. The Chinese canyon ends at National Road No. 1 at km 24 + 840 in Sdao Kanleang village, Kien Svay district, Kandal province.

More importantly, this line also connects to the new container terminal of Phnom Penh Autonomous Port in Kien Svay district, as well as to connect the ASEAN Highway (AH1 and AH11) and the main corridor (Central Corridor and Corridor). Southern economy) of the Greater Mekong Subregion.

Please be informed that the third ring road project was held on January 14, 2019, which was carried out by Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. At a cost of 267.67 million US dollars, the project will be inspected by Guangzhou Wanan Construction Supervision Co., Ltd.
